Intern

Who's a better role model than someone pursuing their dreams in college?

WCM's intern program is on pause for the 2024-2025 school year while we instead focus on a research collaboration with Columbia Falls High School. WCM is currently seeking a graduate student interested in joining a quantitative literacy research team for independent research credit. Please contact Executive Director, Cassie Sheets, at cassie@writingcoachesofmontana.org if you fit this description.

Julia Wynne, 2022-2023 intern

"I felt as if the WCM staff genuinely cared about my professional development beyond just the internship itself. I learned so much about the nonprofit world, running a business, and professional communication. I had the chance to develop skills I’ll use as I apply for future career opportunities, step out of my comfort zone, and be a part of a program that’s making a true impact in countless lives."

Shasta Hecht, 2021-2022 intern

“My experience as an intern with Writing Coaches of Montana has been overwhelmingly positive. The structure was flexible, and allowed me to branch out into a variety of tasks that I wouldn’t have otherwise been able to. Among other responsibilities, my involvement in social media engagement has equipped me with skills I can carry forward into my professional career.”

Kat Jackson, spring & summer 2021 intern

"My internship with Writing Coaches of Montana has been the most formative experience of my undergraduate education. Executive Director Cassie Sheets is a kind, passionate, and knowledgeable mentor who genuinely cared about my professional development and personal growth. This intern experience will allow you to learn crucial skills for any career path."
