Who's a better role model than someone pursuing their dreams in college?

Our internship program allows college students to achieve professional development beneficial to their specific studies and goals. Interns will have the opportunity to gain experience in marketing, copywriting, event planning, grant writing, fundraising, budgeting, programming, and any other aspect of nonprofit and educational administration that aligns with their individual interests.

We have a rolling application, so the post will remain until the position is filled. Applicants will be contacted to schedule an interview via Google Meet. Note that te intern is given two $650 stipends (one in fall 2023, one in spring 2024). 

Marketing Intern

The WCM Media and Marketing Intern will be tasked with developing WCM’s brand and social media presence in alignment with the organization’s new communications plan. The intern will have the opportunity to gain experience in content creation, social media development, marketing, and nonprofit communications. Work will include helping to manage the organization’s social media accounts, creating content, and establishing a revised social media policy. Additional opportunities include developing a marketing video for the organization, assisting in the creation of a WCM Podcast, and collaborating with staff in fundraising campaigns. 

Qualifications: 

  • Basic understanding of marketing strategies
  • Basic understanding of Google Drive
  • Ability to work independently and multitask 
  • Skills in writing and communication
  • Passion for nonprofit work and education 
  • Photography and videography experience and/or interest
