By fall 2024, WCM is committed to eliminating school fees, recognizing the challenges faced by public schools in terms of resources, recognition, and funding. Our aim is to ensure that coaching is accessible to all students, regardless of their school’s financial constraints.
Your contributions, no matter the size, make a tangible difference in the lives of students and educators alike. Together, let's create a brighter future for education. Starting on May 2 & 3 with an annual fundraiser, Missoula & Bitterroot Gives, we aim to put the #coolbackinschool.
Giving at any level is helpful. Here are some cost examples to demonstrate how far your dollar goes at WCM:
- A few lattes ($15) covers the cost of 36 coaching sessions.
- A tank of gas ($50) pays for 30 volunteer background checks.
- A dinner date ($100) trains 10 new volunteer coaches.
- A utility bill ($300) jumpstarts a relationship with a new school system
In addition to donating once, you can make an even greater impact by becoming a Friends of WCM donor by donating below, entering in your monthly donation amount, and then clicking the "make this a monthly payment" button when prompted to submit your payment.
WCM also has corporate sponsorship options for businesses. In exchange for this financial support, WCM offers marketing opportunities via social media, newsletters, Writing Matters podcast episodes, and Writing in the Field profiles of employees.
