Global Issue Analysis Essay
For this essay assignment, you will identify a global issue related to the choice novel you read. Then, you will analyze how the author of your novel and the author of another “text” of your choice (song, poem, movie, podcast) explore the global issue you’ve identified. You will do this in essay format, writing four paragraphs: the first will introduce your issue; the second will analyze your novel author’s choices in an excerpt that relates to your global issue; the third will analyze the second text author’s choices in an excerpt that relates to your global issue; the fourth will bring all of your ideas together with a convincing mic drop.
